Man indicted on charges of murdering his neighbor

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Erie County grand jury has now indicted a Buffalo man accused of killing his neighbor.

Pedro Rivera is charged with second degree murder. The 37-year-old man is accused of fatally stabbing his neighbor, 68-year-old Yousef Kabaln last December. Kabaln’s body was found inside his apartment with several stab wounds.

The suspect and the victim both lived in the Stuyvesant apartments on Elmwood Avenue near Summer Street.
