HARMONY, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two Jamestown men are accused of intentionally starting a fire at a cabin in the Town of Harmony. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says they determined a fire on November 8th, 2013 was intentional.

Officials say a three-month investigation resulted in the arrests of 20-year-old Travis Switaj and 22-year-old Mick Peterson. The men allegedly went into a cabin on Burron Valley Road, set items on fire and left the scene.

The cabin was a total loss, along with all of its contents. Switaj and Peterson were charged with second-degree arson, third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. The appeared in court earlier this week and were released after posting bail.
