Child reports being locked out of home


HORNELL, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Hornell man was unable to provide adequate guardianship of his child due to his level of intoxication, according to New York State Police.

Saturday night police responded to Airport Road, in Hornell, after a 10-year-old reported being locked out of her house. Police responded to the address and charged 38-year-old Robert Dowdle Jr. with endangering the welfare of a child.
