Man accused of .22 percent BAC

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Panama man is accused of having nearly three times the legal blood alcohol content when driving on ST-394 in Jamestown.

New York State Police say they stopped for a disabled vehicle, and ended up smelling alcohol. Police say 52-year-old Timothy E. Ford was arrested after field sobriety tests. He was taken to the police station where he submitted an alleged .22 percent BAC.

He was ticketed for DWI and will appear in City of Jamestown Court at a later date. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
