Man arrested for heroin after he attempts to flee

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) –  A Boston Interstate Trooper initiated a traffic stop Friday morning of a gray Chevrolet on the Kensington Expressway for speeding.

The vehicle made an abrupt turn down the Suffolk exit in an attempt to flee, but slid across the Suffolk St. intersection and struck a tree.

The operator was uninjured and was identified as Seth  Deitsch, 33, of Niagara Street in Buffalo. He was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and a spoon with Heroin residue.

The Trooper also discovered that Deitsch had an active warrant from the City of Buffalo Court.

He was charged with the criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, unlawful fleeing a police officer, aggravated unlicensed operation, and reckless driving.

Deitsch was taken to the City of Buffalo lockup where he was held pending arraignment.
