Cheektowaga Police investigate gunfire

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A teenager told Cheektowaga Police he was walking on Peach Tree Road around 1:20 a.m. Saturday when an SUV pulled up, and someone inside began firing a gun at him. The 17-year-old says he ran and escaped the scene without being injured.

Police say they were called to the scene at Peach Tree and Loxley Roads, and found .45 caliber shell casings. While the teenager was not struck by gunfire, police say bullets hit a parked vehicle and the siding of a home.
