DALLAS (WIVB) – Former Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff picked up his 600th career victory Monday night, with his Dallas Stars topping Buffalo 3-2.

Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth almost single-handedly kept the Sabres in the game, stopping 36 shots, as the Stars out-shot the Sabres 39-23.

Tyler Ennis scored twice for Buffalo, but Jamie Benn’s third period power play goal turned out to be the difference, snapping Buffalo’s three-game winning streak.

The Sabres now head to Tampa Bay for a Thursday night matchup against the Lightning. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
