Alleged drunk driver tried removing vehicle from ditch

HANOVER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Perrysburg man is facing a DWI charge after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Deputies found a vehicle in a ditch on Alleghany Road, in Hanover.

Deputies say they found 55-year-old Daniel A. Borowski trying to get the vehicle out of the ditch. Deputies say they found he was drunk while operating the vehicle, and charged him with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane.

Borowski was issued tickets and was released.
