Organic baby food maker recalls two products

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A maker of organic baby food has recalled two products that may contain a choking hazard.

Plum says two of its products, Stage 2 World Baby Italy and Stage 2 World Baby Thailand, were damaged during the manufacturing process. The plastic spouts could break apart, which would present a choking hazard.

The product can be returned for a full refund. It is sold at area Wegmans.

For Stage 2 World Baby Italy, the product information is as follows:
Organic Zucchini & Spinach with Pasta Marinara, 3.5 oz, Stage 2
UPC 84667500456 – ONLY products with a Best By date of 09SEP14 printed at the bottom of the back of the pouch

For Stage 2 World Baby Thailand, the product information is as follows:
Organic Roasted Pumpkin & Coconut Rice, 3.5 oz, Stage 2
UPC 84667500453 – ONLY products with a Best By date of 10SEP14 printed at the bottom of the back of the pouch

Plum says no injuries have been reported to date.
