Snowmobilers reminded to stay on trails

CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. (WIVB) – After issuing several tickets, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is reminding snowmobilers to stay on the marked trail system.

Deputies responded to complaints of snowmobilers going off the trails and over the past few days have issued several tickets in Chautauqua and Sherman. The sheriff’s office says snowmobilers need to remember to stay on the trails out of courtesy to property owners and for their own safety.
