LAKEWOOD, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies arrested a southern tier woman on Tuesday on a warrant related to a marijuana grow operation in Chautauqua County.

Authorities took Tiffany Boardman into custody around 7 p.m. in the Village of Lakewood. The 47-year-old woman is facing charges of second degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing marijuana.

Boardman was identified as a suspect after a 10-month investigation into the sale of marijuana in Chautuaqua County. A large marijuana production operation was uncovered on February 21, and authorities say additional arrests may result.

After being arraigned, Boardman was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 bail.
