Bill requires paid family leave insurance


ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) – Wednesday night, the New York State Assembly voted to pass a bill that would require employers to purchase paid family leave insurance for their employees.

The cost would be offset by a weekly employee contribution of up to 45 cents from their paychecks.
