Enroth stops 43 in Sabres 3-1 win

TAMPA (WIVB) – Jhonas Enroth turned away 43 shots to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-1 win at Tampa Bay, despite the Lightning out-shooting Buffalo 44-21.

Tyler Myers, Marcus Foligno, and Cody Hodgson found the net for the Sabres in the win. For Myers, it’s his third goal in the last four games.

Steven Stamkos returned to the lineup for Tampa Bay, after missing a big chunk of the season with a broken leg. Ryan Callahan, acquired at the trade deadline yesterday, made his Tampa debut.

The Sabres had two players leave early with injuries, with Zemgus Girgensons and Chris Stewart both suffering lower body injuries.

Buffalo is on the road against the Panthers Friday night.
