TSA find handgun in WNYer’s carry-on bag

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – TSA agents at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport found a loaded handgun in a carry-on bag belonging to a Chautauqua County man Thursday morning.

Officials say the weapon was spotted at an X-ray machine checkpoint. The .380 caliber handgun was loaded with six rounds and one bullet in the chamber.

NFTA Police responded and confiscated the weapon, which they say was registered to its owner, 36-year-old Troy Livecche, who has a license for the weapon.

Charges are pending against him.
