High schoolers hit ice with Sabres player

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Some high school hockey players enjoyed time on the ice with a Buffalo Sabre, Monday. The students took the ice with Cody Hodgson at noon.

The Sweet Home High School hockey team collected the most pledges during an “It Can Wait” pledge drive.

The AT&T Buffalo Sabres pledge drive challenged students to encourage students, parents and teachers to pledge not to text and drive.

On March 31st the Sabres and AT&T will visit the school for a special “It Can Wait” assembly.
