McCrea earns All-MAC honors again

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – For the third year in a row, UB’s Javon McCrea is a first-team All-MAC selection.

The Bulls senior is averaging 18.9 points and 9.8 rebounds a game this season, earning UB a bye into the conference quarterfinals this Thursday in Cleveland.

Shannon Evans earned a spot on the league’s All-Freshman team, with senior Josh Freelove an All-MAC honorable mention.

On the women’s side, Mackenzie Loesing is a second-team All-MAC selection. Kristen Sharkey earned third-team honors.  Like the men’s team, the UB women earned a bye into the quarterfinals.

Both teams will hit the court Thursday. The women tip off at 12pm, with the men’s game targeted for 9pm.
