Sabres, Nolan working on extension

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Near the end of his post-practice interview today, Sabres interim head coach Ted Nolan revealed his representatives are working on a new contract with Sabres GM Tim Murray.

“Just formalities and getting a couple things ironed out and doing all the legal stuff,” said Nolan.

Murray has said multiple times, he is interested in keeping Nolan here beyond this season. From what Nolan had to say today, it sounds like a deal could happen soon.
