Nashville tops Sabres 4-1

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Nashville scored four straight goals to take care of the Sabres tonight, winning 4-1.

Buffalo found the net first, with Drew Stafford scoring a power play goal in his 500th career game as a Sabre. That lead would be short-lived.

Nick Spaling tipped in a Shea Weber blast to tie the game at 1-1 going into the second period. Weber scored one of his own to give the Predators the lead, followed by a Craig Smith score.

Former Sabres forward Paul Gaustad added an empty-netter to preserve the win.
