BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Before weather conditions really hit their worst in Western New York, the difference between March 11 and March 12 was already more than apparent.
Winging It: Buffalo Style producer Alex Peterson took this before and after shot out front of News 4 studios on Elmwood Avenue in North Buffalo. Both pictures were taken around the same time of day, but one was snapped the day before the blizzard and the second was snapped after the blizzard had started to move into Western New York.
The Blizzard Warning was ended early, but parts of our area remain under a Winter Weather Advisory. Download the free News 4 app for your smartphone to get the latest forecast anytime
Though the amount of snow that fell on WNY was not great, the combined winds are what prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Blizzard Warning. Learn more about the criteria for Blizzard Warnings here.
