Alleged bank robber caught after almost two years

DELEVAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Almost two years after M&T Bank in Delevan was robbed, State Police say they have made an arrest.

On Thursday, troopers announced 33-year-old William Delaney has been charged with first degree robbery. Investigators say he’s responsible for the June 3, 2011 bank robbery.

He is currently being held in the Cattaraugus County Jail pending further court proceedings.
