Judge denies Tonawanda Coke acquittal

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Tonawanda Coke was seeking an acquittal of all charges in a federal air pollution case. But Friday, the judge said no.

Tonawanda coke is about to be sentenced next week for violating the Clean Air Act.

The secretive company has been under fire for years. Nearby residents have long-said pollution from the plant is the root of ther health problems.
