Man with two prior drunk driving convictions pleaded guilty to two DWIs

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man with two prior drunk driving convictions has pleaded guilty to two separate DWI charges that happened just two months apart.

Brian Myles was pulled over on October 19, 2013 while driving in the wrong lane on Main Street near the University at Buffalo’s South Campus. Police say the 33-year-old was so intoxicated he needed help standing. He was arrested and charged with DWI.

Two months later, on Christmas Day around 4:50 a.m., NFTA Police found Myles repeatedly making U-turns on Main Street near Ferry. Officers say Myles was trying to find his way to the nearby McDonald’s. He was again arrested for DWI after failing to convince officers that he deserved a break.

Myles has prior convictions of DWI and DWAI. When he is sentenced in May, he faces up to four years in prison.
