Second person dies after Clarence Center fire

CLARENCE CENTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A second person has died from a fire on Goodrich Road in Clarence Center Sunday night.

Flames broke out shortly before 9 p.m. and firefighters found two victims unconscious in a second floor apartment. Charles Deppa, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene. Denise Hackrott, 51, was taken to ECMC, where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
