OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who was convicted of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl now admits he failed to register as a sex offender.
Darryl Myers pleaded guilty Tuesday to failing to register. Between July and August 2013 in Cattaraugus County, the 42-year-old failed to register with the NYS Sex Offender Registry.
In 2001, Myers was convicted of first degree sexual abuse. He served six years in state prison.
He will be sentenced in May for failing to register as a sex offender.
