BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A collection of ancient artifacts that has never been on public display will make its debut at the Buffalo Museum of Science.

The exhibit is part of the Mummies of the World exhibition. Starting April 12, visitors will be able to see both human and animals mummies collected from various museums and institutions in Europe.

Though many believe mummies were only created in Egypt, the mummies in this exhibit come from South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, as well as Egypt.

The display runs through the summer at the Buffalo Museum of Science.
