Deputies witness drunk driver jump curb

ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Erie County Sheriff’s Office say they spotted a man driving drunk when he jumped the curb at the intersection of Seneca Street and Transit Road in Elma.

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday, deputies stopped 29-year-old John Yager of East Aurora after seeing him jump the curb. Officers say he failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of .20 percent.
