Man responsible for deadly crash accused of violating probation a second time

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who spent six months in jail for a drunken driving crash that killed a girl and injured two others is back behind bars.

Bradley Maloney is accused of violating his probation for a second time and could now be re-sentenced in the drunk driving case. A judge put Maloney back in jail without bond.

Maloney was intoxicated when he crashed his Mustang convertible in January 2012, killing 14-year-old Angela Keim. He was sentenced to six months in jail after his lawyers argued he was developmentally disabled.

But this isn’t the first time Maloney has violated his probation. Just this past January, he was sentenced to 250 hours of community service for staying out partying past his curfew and missing counseling sessions.

Maloney is due back in court next week for a hearing. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
