Buffalo Police announce annual bicycle auction


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police will be selling more than 200 bicycles at their annual auction on March 29.

All of the bicycles have been recovered by officers and were either stolen or lost over the last year. Bikes typically sell for between $1 and $100. Police will be selling them off one-by-one at their headquarters at 74 Franklin Street.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the auction will begin promptly at 9 a.m. If you’re going to buy a bike, don’t forget that the auction is cash-only.
