BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Flying Bison Beer broke ground on its new brewery on Seneca Street in Buffalo on Friday.

The new facility, which is expected to open this summer, will have a tasting room and beer garden.

Founder Tim Herzog said, “Tremendously exciting. From the day we started dusting out the old supermarket in Riverside, I’m not sure we envisioned that we’d be coming to something like this. So a very exciting day.”

The original Flying Bison brewery is located on Ontario Street. It’s been operating for 14 years.
