Visitors can tour sugarhouses during Maple Weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Nearly 50 sugarhouses across Western New York are opening their doors to the public to showcase how they transform tree sap into delectable maple treats during the 19th annual Maple Weekend.

If you ever wondered how they make maple syrup, maple candy, maple sugar, maple cotton candy and much more, this is your chance to see the process from tree to table.
