3 injured in Orchard Park fire

ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) – Three people have been injured in an early morning fire in Orchard Park. Just before 5a.m. Sunday Police were dispatched to a home on Big Tree Rd for a report of a woman banging on a residents door, asking for them to call 911.

Just minutes later, police were advised that the woman was trying to tell her neighbor that her home was on fire. Firefighters from Orchard Park, Hillcrest, Windom, Armor and Scranton fire departments rushed to the scene to put out the fire.

Three occupants of the home were taken to the hospital for injuries suffered during the fire. The house is considered a total loss with a damage estimate of $150,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Orchard Park Police Dept. and the Erie County Sheriff’s Dept.
