DOT wants public input on high-speed rail

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The New York State Department of Transportation wants input from the public. They are extending the window for public comments on the possible high-speed rail service from Niagara Falls to New York City. The original deadline for comments was Monday, but it has been extended to April 30th.

You can make comments thru the DOT’s web site. One of the multi-billion dollar plans on the table would launch service that would get you from Manhattan to the Falls in six hours.
