PERRY, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office says a Perry man threatened to kill another person at his residence. A 911 call alerted deputies to an alleged domestic dispute at a Water Street Road residence, Friday night.

The sheriff’s office says 62-year-old Ronald S. Mattoon was arrested and charged with third-degree menacing. He was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court and taken to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

A complete stay away order of protection was issued protecting the victim. Mattoon is due in court later this week.
