Two teens accused of setting playground equipment on fire

ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two teens are charged with arson after police say they were caught on camera setting fire to playground equipment.

Attica Police say two 16-year-olds were arrested Saturday after an investigation by the fire department determined wooden playground equipment at the Village Park had intentionally been set on fire. Investigators say surveillance equipment and eyewitness accounts led to the arrest of the youths a short time after the blaze was set.

Both are due in court next month. Police did not release their names.
