Fans plan to celebrate Wilson’s life Sunday

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) -  A Buffalo Bills fan club plans to say thank you to Ralph Wilson this Sunday. The team announced their owner and founder passed away Tuesday afternoon. He was 95. 

This Sunday from 1-5 p.m, fans plan to gather at 4170 Abbott Road. In a message on Twitter, fans say to join them as they say “thank you to Mr. Wilson the best way Bills fans know how, with a tailgate.”

Parking will cost $10, with all proceeds to be donated to the Hunter’s Hope Foundation. The foundation is named for the late Hunter Kelly, son of former Bills quarterback and Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

The Bills organization is in the process of planning a memorial to honor Wilson.
