Fund to help family who lost son, home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There is a fund to help a Buffalo family, who lost a son and a home in a fire. Seven-year-old Alexavier Torres Santiago died Sunday in the fire on Fillmore Avenue.

Tuesday, his family and friends gathered at School Number 30. Officials there announced that anyone can make donations at the M&T Bank Branch at Grant and Ferry on the city’s west side.

The family is also in need of housing, furniture, six beds, a refrigerator, a living room set and clothing.
