Man allegedly stole $1,800 necklace

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Clarence man is accused of stealing a necklace and pawning it at a local jewelry store. Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard announced the arrest of 20-year-old Ryan Beck, on grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges.

He allegedly stole a gold and diamond necklace work $1,800 from a home on Shannon Court, in Clarence. The sheriff’s office says he pawned it at an Eastern Hills Mall jewelry store, where it was recovered by deputies.

Beck was arrested at 1 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
