Teen admits role in string of robberies

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A teenager now admits his role in a string of crimes. DeQuan Bailey, 18, has pleaded guilty to five counts of robbery.

Prosecutors say Bailey has pleaded guilty to five counts of robbery. Prosecutors say Bailey and several other teens robbed food delivery men and cab drivers in the city over a period of about three months.

investigators say the string of crimes led to the murder of cab driver Mazen Abdallah last year. A jury already convicted defendants Maurice Howie and Sean Austin of murder in that case.
