Man who tried to rob LaNova Pizzeria pleads guilty

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man who tried to rob LaNova Pizzeria on West Ferry Street but was chased down and held by employees pleaded guilty Thursday to robbery charges.

Last October, 21-year-old Terrence Price walked up to an employee in the parking lot outside LaNova and stole cash from a bank bag at gunpoint. But as he fled, employees gave chase.

Price opened fire on his pursuers, who were undaunted and chased him down. Once caught, employees held Price until police arrived.

Price faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced in May for first degree robbery and two counts of second degree criminal possession of a weapon. He has a prior conviction in Pennsylvania for robbery.
