Community Charter School parents to hold meeting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There are no classes Friday at the Community Charter School in Buffalo. Instead, parents will hold a meeting.

Thursday a State Supreme Court judge ruled that the New York State Education Department did have the authority to close the school. The school was able to stay open this year, due to a temporary restraining order issued last May.

Community Charter is now set to close on June 30th. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
