Trio steal nearly $40K worth of metal

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Cheektowaga Police are trying to identify three men who stole between $30,000 and $40,000 worth of metal from a company on Standard Parkway earlier this month.

During the overnight hours on March 11, three suspects removed copper tubing and steel piping from the rear of a building belonging to Xylem, Inc. The men pushed the metal under a fence, which runs along a field parallel to I-90.
