VNA reaches contract agreement with CWA1122

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – After two months of good-faith negotiations, the Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York (VNA) reached a tentative agreement with the Communications Workers of America/AFL-CIO (CWA1122) on a new three-year contract, which covers nearly 600 unionized employees.

“The new agreement is fair for our employees, with a continued commitment to providing competitive wages, benefits and employment conditions,” said Judy Baumgartner, President of the VNA. “Just as important, it will also help the VNA respond to the changing healthcare landscape and address matters related to our expanding footprint. With a tentative agreement in place, we can now move forward and focus on our primary mission of providing excellent health care in the homes of our patients across the nine counties of Western New York.”
