BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Around 100 additional border protection agents are coming to Buffalo.

More agents should help cut down on wait times at the Peace Bridge and other local border crossings. Local officials, including Congressman Brian Higgins and Senator Charles Schumer, are applauding the decision. Both have been pushing for more agents to help keep cross-border traffic moving. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
