Man gets DWI after incidents at gentlemen’s club

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Lockport man is facing a felony charge after a series of incidents that began at Mademoiselle’s Gentlemen’s Club, in Cheektowaga. William Ball, 40, will be arraigned Monday in Supreme Court.

According to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, Ball was thrown out of the club in November. Police responded and found him to be drunk, so permitted him to take a cab home. However, the DA’s office says he returned to the club a short time later to retrieve his vehicle.

While driving home, he was stopped by Cheektowaga Police for drunk driving. Ball was convicted of DWI in 2009, and will face a maximum sentence of one year and four months to four years in jail if he is convicted. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
