BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Three community groups have been given a boost thanks to a memorial fund named for the late wife of NYS Regent Robert Bennett.

Family Support Centers in Sweet Home and Lancaster and the Buffalo and Erie County Boys and Girls Club will benefit from the Audrey Bennett Fund, which was established to support efforts to sustain strong families.

Andrew Bennett, son of Robert and Audrey, said, “There’s, clearly, too many families out there that don’t have the support like we can provide to our kids, and because of Family Support Centers kids are safer and better for it. So thank you all for the work that you do.”

Robert Bennett is also on the board of Catholic Charities, which is a major partner with the support centers.
