Common Council to discuss Market Arcade

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – We could be one step closer to learning what’s next for the future of Buffalo’s Market Arcade Building. The Common Council is holding a public meeting on plans to sell the architectural landmark to Sinatra and Company for $1.4 million.

If it’s approved by the council, Sinatra plans to move his company’s headquarters into the building. The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency approved their offer to purchase 617 Main Street in February.

Sinatra and Company says they have invested $20 million into the City of Buffalo, and plan to invest millions more over the coming years. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
