Construction project to begin on Ohio Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Construction is set to begin on the $11.3 million Ohio Street Redevelopment Project.

This plan will transform a stretch of Ohio Street into a tree-lined parkway, linking Buffalo’s inner and outer harbors.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Congressman Brian Higgins are scheduled to kick off the project, Tuesday morning. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
