No special elections to fill NYS legislative vacancies

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) – Governor Andrew Cuomo says several legislative vacancies will not be filled this year.

As a result of resignations or promotions, almost two million New Yorkers will be left without representation. One of the vacancies stems from the January resignation of Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak.

The Democrat from Depew was accused of sexually harassing female staffers.
