Sabres sign Kea to entry-level contract

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Justin Kea is ready to make the jump to the pro’s, signing his entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres today.

Kea, Buffalo’s 2012 3rd round draft pick, is expected to report to the Rochester Americans to finish out the season.

The 20-year old was part of Buffalo’s effort to shore up the center position in the 2012 draft. He stands at 6’4″ and 210 pounds. In 58 games this season with Saginaw of the OHL, Kea scored 22 points with 27 assists.
