Leader to break down educational impact of budget

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Governor Andrew Cuomo put his signature on the new state budget Tuesday.

State Assemblyman Sean Ryan will be breaking down the educational impact of the $143 billion spending plan at Buffalo State College, Wednesday. The plan provides more than $10 billion for the state university system.

It will also help make college more affordable by increasing TAP funding for the first time in 14 years, and setting up new scholarships for the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, or STEM, program.
